I was eager to take on a novel from an omniscient viewpoint, but was afraid of making a mistake. In my first two novels, I used the first-person narrator and a limited third person. When I asked Ann if she had difficulty deciding on a viewpoint from which to tell the story, she admitted, "I think that is always the first, hard decision for a novelist. ![]()
